Children

Parents and children sit together in worship until the children are excused for Sunday School classes at 9:45 AM.

Nursery Room – Birth thru Toddlers. The Nursery is adjacent to the Sanctuary so that parents can see and hear the worship service as infants rest or play. A bathroom with a changing table is located in the Nursery.

Cool Kid’s Class Room 1 – Age 3 thru Kindergarten. Children hear Bible stories, play games, and learn about God’s love. Contact Sheryl Enock or Susanne Nagata for more information.

Explorer’s Room 3 – Grades 1-3. Children discover Bible stories, learn about God’s love, and how to follow Jesus through story-telling, making art projects, and playing games. Contact Rev. Janet Cromwell for more information.

Trekker’s Room 2 – Grades 4 thru 8.  This is an opportunity for our younger youth to read Bible passages, grow in faith, participate in service projects and learn to lead in worship.  Contact Sharon Kinoshita-Gill or Mike Dote for more information.

Youth Room (second floor) – Grades 9 thru 12.  Youth meet in the Youth Room on the second floor. Together they learn life skills through studying scripture and class discussion. Contact Dave Cook for more information.

Family Worship – Parents, children and youth worship together on the first Sunday of each month in the Sanctuary. Young children enjoy “Activity Bags” that are filled with coloring pages, puzzles, and crayons during Family Worship. Small groups are not held on Family Worship Sundays.

Christian Education & Family Ministries Team – This team of church leaders and teachers meets to plan educational program and fun activities for children, youth, and families.  The Team meets quarterly to plan for the new year.
