Japanese Film Night

Friday, January 26, 7:30 PM.

“125 Years Memory”/”Kainan 1890”  This 2015 drama, directed by Mitsutoshi Tanaka, depicting the  tale of foreign survivors of a shipwreck who find welcome and shelter  on a nearby Japanese island. The film received ten nominations at the 39th Japan Academy Prize, winning the awards for Best Art Direction and Best Sound Recording.

These free cinema series screenings are presented at West LA United Methodist Church, exclusively on the last Friday of each month at 7:30 PM.  Meet with friends and family. Make new friends.
